James Schermerhorn was best man for his brother, and the ushers were Clifford Hunt, cousin of the bride, and Charles Schmitt.
The bride's mother wore a dress of dark blue sheer with white accessories and the bridegroom's mother was attired in powder blue with white accessories. Both wore corsages of pink roses.
Following the ceremony, a wedding breakfast was served at the Roosevelt for the immediate families. Later, a small reception was held at the home of the bride's parents.
Out-of-town attendees included Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Hunt and Miss Grace Hunt of Hamilton, Ont.; Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Hunt and Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Hunt Jr. of Buffalo; Mr. and Mrs. Alphonse Demers of Port Credit, Ont., and Mrs. and Mrs. Robert Schermerhorn and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Diamo[nd?] of Syracuse.
