Narrative

Note: Dr. Eunice Work, d/o Jeremiah was educated at Tarkio College; Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y. and Columbia University, N.Y. She was a member of the Archaeological Institute of America, of the Royal Numismatic Society of England; a fellow of the American Numismatic Society and a Life member of the Classical Association of New England. At Wheaton College, of Norton, Mass., she was head of the Department of Classics, teaching Latin and Greek.

Eunice was a member of the Archaeological Institute of America, the Royal Numismatic Society of England; a fellow of the American Numismatic Society; a life member of the Classical Association of New England. She taught Latin and Greek at Wheaton College.

Narrative

Wheaton College, Horton, Mass. She retired from there. She did archeologist work in numismatics (study of ancient coins) was a member of the American Classics School (?) in Athens. Worked at Corinth where Mark + Deb's children visited one summer. Also wasin Rome + London with friends. She was a devoted Episcopalian and gave chapel talks at Wheaton sometimes She led a movement to have college build faculty housing on campus instead of faculty living and eating with students. She was a fine aunt and sent Jim and me many interesting presents.
