Reverend Geoffrey Bevan Watkins Grubb was born on 18 December 1908.1 He was the son of Reverend Ernest Watkins Grubb and Mary Pauline Bevan.2 He married Anna Kathleen Hinde, daughter of Reverend Prebendary Herbert William Hinde, on 28 December 1934.1 He died on 30 July 1975 at age 66.1
He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1931 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1934 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was educated at London College of Divinity, London, England.1 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Numismatic Society (F.R.N.S.).1 He was Vicar of Cullompton between 1937 and 1946 at Devon, England.1 He was Vicar of St James's between 1946 and 1952 at Tunbridge, Wells, Somerset, England.1 He was Rector of Cranfield between 1952 and 1956 at Bedfordshire, England.1 He was Rector of Spaxton with Charlynch between 1956 and 1965 at Somerset, England.1 He held the office of Proctor in Convocation of the Diocese of Canterbury.1 He wrote the book The Grubbs of Tipperary, published 1972.1 He was founder and honourary Secetary of The Grubb Family Association in 1974.1
