Col. Robert Tucker, was a Burgess from Norfolk in 1767-1769. His signatuare and that of his father, Robert Sr., appear among the "Sons of Liberty," as signers to the resolutions adopted in opposition to the Stamp Act, March 31, 1766.

Died- On Wednesday the 1st instant, at Norfolk, Colonel Robert Tucker, merchant.
The removal of the family graves from Custom House was 9-14-1853.
