John Stewart Grubb was born on 18 December 1909.[1] He is the son of Reverend Percy John Grubb and Edith Alicia Judge.[2,1]
He was educated at Bradford Grammar School, Bradford, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Lincoln College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1932 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)[1] He graduated from Lincoln College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1945 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)[1] He was Headmaster of the British Preparatory School between 1966 and 1971 at Helsinki, Finland.[1] He was Headmaster of Entoto School between 1971 and 1974 at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.[1] He lived at The Dover House, Quatt, Bridgnorth, Shropshire, England.[1]
