Narrative

Alice Cynthia Sainthill Woodhouse was born on 29 July 1918.[1] She was the daughter of Robert Woodhouse and Mary Frances Watson Anderson.[1] She married, firstly, Sir Ernest William Davis-Goff, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Herbert William Davis-Goff, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Aimée Scott, on 4 February 1941.[1] She and Sir Ernest William Davis-Goff, 3rd Bt. were divorced in 1960.[1] She married, secondly, Hector O'Connor, son of Andrew O'Connor, on 21 October 1961.[1] She died in May 1999 at age 80.[2]
From 4 February 1941, her married name became Davis-Goff.[1] From 21 October 1961, her married name became O'Connor.[1] She wrote the book The Grand Tour of James Caulfeild, First Earl of Charlemont (1728-99).[2] She wrote the book The Pleasing Hours, published 1999.[2]
