Henry Cecil Grubb was born on 8 November 1899.1 He was the son of Louis Henry Grubb and Sara Mary Watkins Grubb.[2] He married Emily Olive Leake, daughter of William Leake, on 12 April 1950.[1] He died on 8 August 1964 at age 64, without issue.[1]
He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.[1] He fought in the First World War.[1] He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Border Regiment.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1921 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).[1] He was a missionary between 1922 and 1959 at Argentina.[1] He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1926 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).[1] He was the superintendent of the South American Mission Society's Chaco Missions between 1930 and 1959 at Argentina.[1] He wrote the book Land Between the Rivers.[1]
