Narrative

Captain Cedric Alexander Grubb was born on 16 February 1902.[2] He was the son of Louis Henry Grubb and Sara Mary Watkins Grubb.[2] He married Ailsa Marjorie Campbell, daughter of Colonel Alan James Campbell and Mary Grace Montgomery Grove, on 10 April 1930.[1] He died on 24 December 1974 at age 72.[2]
He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.[2] He was an orange farmer at South Africa.[2] He fought in the Second World War.[2] He gained the rank of Captain in the South African Forces.[2] He retired from the military in 1945, with the rank of Captain.[2]
