Narrative
Elizabeth Anne Reveley was the daughter of Henry Reveley (1737-1798) - a noted musician and collector/connoisseur of art - and his wife Jane Champion de Crespigny (ca. 1743-1829). Henry Reveley served as Purveyor to the King and Commissioner of Excise
She married Cadwallader Blayney Roper at St. James, Westminster on Jan. 22, 1796 or Jan. 21, 1797.
Their surname was changed to Trevor-Roper in 1809, upon her husband's inheritance of the Plas Teg estate from his aunt Mary Fludyer Roper - Lady Dacre - the widow of the 18th Baron Dacre.
Elizabeth Trevor-Roper probably died at Plas Teg house, and was buried at the parish church in nearby Hope on June 22, 1816, at the age of 42. (The parish register shows her burial was presided over by J. Warrington, Vicar.)
