Information on the full name of Solomon Zeliff's wife and the mother of his children were noted on the death certificate of daughter Margaret (Zeliff) Roach who died in 1913. The death certificate also revealed that Isabella was born in England. In the 1880 US PA census records, Margaret, age 52, noted that her mother (Isabella) was born in PA. This compiler is still researching Isabella's line (2015), and has drawn no definite conclusion as to her birth origins or her parents' names. From a copy of a letter written in 1902 by daughter Margaret (Zeliff) Roach, it is evident that Isabella was the only wife of Solomon Zeliff, and thus the mother to his (5) children.
