Louis Henry Grubb was born on 27 July 1865.[2] He is the son of Henry Samuel Grubb and Martha Elizabeth Hughes.2 He married Sara Mary Watkins Grubb, daughter of Lt.-Col. Alexander Grubb and Sara Mary Watkins, on 18 January 1899.[2] He died on 15 September 1929 at age 64.[2]
He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.[2] He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1888 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).[2] He held the office of Justice of Peace (J.P.) of Ardmayle.[1] He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Ardmayle.[1] He held the office of High Sheriff in 1897.[2] He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1897 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).[2] He lived at Ardmayle House, County Tipperary, Ireland.[2]
