William's death certifcate noted that he was a "saddler" and in business for himself, which would ALSO coincide w/family recollections. His wife Laura, and children Clare and Clark Courson are also listed w/him in census records. Additional information from his death certificate #1699091, indicates that William died of acute myocardial collapse, due to acute gastritis. He was 75y, 3m, and 17days old. Burial was in I.O.O.F. (Internation Order Odd Fellows) Cemetery, located in Danville, PA, plot #347A, along side his wife Laura.

WM. F. ZELIFF W'VILLE DIES Well Known Harness Maker Dies At Advanced Age. William Finney Zeliff, for 40 years a saddler and harness maker, died yesterday afternoon at 1:30 at his home at Washingtonville at an advanced age. He had been ill for a short time. Mr. Zeliff was well known throughout this region and carried on his business until recently when his health failed. He was a member of the Mahoning Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Laura R. Zeliff, a daughter, Mrs. Herman Work, Covington, Va. and a son at home C. Corsen Zeliff. Also surviving are two sisters Mrs. Elizabeth Hoffman, Northumberland, an Mrs. H. F. Zarr, Jersey Shore.
