Narrative
RICHARD DAVIS GRUBB (1820-1865), eldest son of Samuel (1787-1859) and Deborah (nee Davis) (d. 1885). Married 1851 his first cousin Margaret Grubbe, daughter of his Uncle Thomas of Clonmel. She died 1855. He outlived his father six years only. They had two children:
(1) MARGARET b. 1853
(2) SAMUEL RICHARD GRUBB, J.P. (1855-1921); m. 1885, Alice Hannah, daughter of E.W. Binney, F.R.S. of Ravenscliffe, Isle of Man. He was High Sheriff of Co. Tipperary, 1914. A Quaker, he was buried in the Knockmealdown Mountains, a lrage stone cairn marks his grave.
