Narrative

From The Grubbs of Tipperary, page 70:

Second son of Joseph Grubb and Sarah Greer. Miller and corn merchant of Anner Mills, married Sarah Pim (1746-1832), in 1778. He died early through overwork, aged 47. The most able business man of the family, he built and prospered at Anner Mills; his wife succeeded him (Sarah Grubb and Co., Millers of Anners), assisted by able clerks and managers. They had four survivng daughters (one died), and Anners for over 100 years was a centre of Quaker hospitality.
